The GVI-Charitable Trust supports 27 different projects located in 13 different countries spread across 6 continents. Our projects cover areas in marine and wildlife conservation, domestic animal care, primary and secondary education, women's empowerment, construction and healthcare. We work with local organisations who guide and direct where we focus our efforts. Even though our projects are spread out and varied, they all aim to achieve three main objectives: awareness, impact and empowerment.
The challenges that we tackle are varied, but they are all connected by the unfortunate central themes of environmental degradation, mismanagement and lack of resources and support. Developing countries are faced with needs that far exceed the resources that they are able to expend. We aim to help on a micro level to alleviate some of the demands and assist people and places that might otherwise be neglected by the system.
Donations to this project will act as an investment in our work all around the world. Since our inception in 2006 we have seen some amazing achievements, from building classrooms and home, expanding our scholarships, protecting and monitoring marine and wildlife reserves to providing communities with water tanks. There is much more still to be done and our hope is that the GVI-Charitable Trust will continue to grow in its reach. It is all possible only with your support.
In all of our work the ultimate aim is long term sustainability. We let our local partners direct and dictate the projects so that our work is impactful on a local level. This encourages local growth and commitment to the project, which ultimately leads to long term sustainability. Donations to this project will ensure that the charity will remain stable for years to come.
