"Guayaquil: Rising from its ashes" - 2ND PHASE

In mid-March, with the cases increasing, the Ecuadorian Government closed its air and maritime border, declared a health emergency and a state of emergency, with which the mobilization was restricted. As of April 23, the number of infected were 22,106 people and 1,636 deceased approximately.

The health system collapsed and businesses were closed and many families do not have food and essential medicine to survive, which in the short term cannot be solved We went through the hardest moments in April, but even in this crisis, we were able to be the hands and feet of God to be able to contribute a grain of sand to the families who were in need.

As a nonprofit community concerned organization, the CDC Community Development Center, was able to help 100 families with food kits and medicines in Guayaquil. Our commitment is to continue raising projects to benefit the community; we realize that what we have done is just a small part of the great whole.

We are looking forward for a second phase raising an “ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROJECT” to reactivate the economy, due to Covid-19 many people have lost their jobs.
