The Kenyan education system transitioned to CBC. This has meant longer hours for students in school that leave them with no spare time to attend after school activites. We are therefore slightly pivoting this project to a social innovation hub that will cater to out of school youths who are looking for enganced skills in comupters and digital literacy.
We hope that this innovation hub will be up in the coming year and are thus continuing with this fundraising effort .
Our current need is for computers and training software and funds to pay for the trainers.
We will however still hold the holiday club in December where the students have a much longer time at home and we are able to catch up with their literacy skills. We are therefore continuing with this fundraising effort in preparation for the full week of experiential learning.
