For several years, the Remansito Community Development Center has been a pillar of the community, where innovative activities are developed that promote informed, critical, participatory citizens who are protagonists of their own development. On this occasion, the community center hosted a Forum for children and adolescents, with the motto: "We Protect Life and Strengthen Unity."
Schools and attached classrooms, colleges and children's and adolescent organizations from Remansito were part of this meeting that sought to actively promote the participation, integration and critical reflection of girls, boys and adolescents in the community.
Workshops were held at the Forum in which topics such as violence, participation, social protection and health were addressed. A vital space where participants expressed their ideas and could debate real problems that affect the community.
The mayor, the educational supervisor, representatives of the CODENI, the Health Center, the Youth and Children's Directorates of the Government of President Hayes and other authorities witnessed the commitment of the girls, boys and adolescents, who not only expressed their concerns, but also presented proposals to together build a safer community with guaranteed children's rights.
