You have been so generous to us and we greatly appreciate it. Now, we are able to waive fees from Chinese Green Mapmakers for 2015, thanks to your generosity! So from the newest Green Map project – Roots and Shoots Shanghai, which joined us in January - to the pioneers from the China Mangrove Conservation Network - all will benefit from your generosity through the Global Giving platform!
Recently, we were able to share news and beautiful Green Maps from these Chinese projects with an esteemed group of NGO and civic leaders from China that we met with through the US State Department Visitor Leadership Program. As pictured, this includes representatives from Clean Air Asia, Greenovation Hub, Danger Maps, Beijing Energy Conservation, Green Hunan, Innovation Center for Clean-Air Solutions, Chengdu Urban Rivers Association, ChinaDialogue and ERI’s Center for Renewable Energy Development. We’re looking forward to further exchange with these and other hard working, high impact organizations.
Reminiscing over the reports we have sent you (linked above the photos on our project profile), we can say that this certainly has been an exciting partnership as you have exceeded our fundraising goals, and helped so many Chinese Green Mapmakers make local sustainable living resources more visible and actionable. We will soon be introducing you to a new initiative that is underscored by the urgency of climate change and new potential to move millions more by connecting with the sharing economy. You will be among the first to know!
Thank you again on behalf of our entire staff and network. Our best wishes to each of you for this important season and the start of the Year of Yes!
