The 2025 floods in Pakistan have once again reminded us of the immense toll of the climate crisis not only on communities and livelihoods, but also on the hopes and stability of the country’s youth. Across Punjab and Sindh, countless young people have faced the disruption of education, displacement from their homes, and growing uncertainty about their future. These events have underscored the urgency of building stronger local climate leadership and equipping young people to respond to environmental challenges that directly affect their lives.
Amid these realities, the Green Ambassadors project has continued to serve as a platform to sustain youth engagement and awareness on climate resilience. Over the past few months, we have remained active through digital channels, resharing impactful stories and content from the PILDAT x GlobalGiving Climate Awareness Week. These efforts have focused on amplifying discussions around disaster preparedness, the link between governance and climate response, and the essential role that informed youth can play in mitigating future crises.
While on-ground implementation has not yet begun due to limited funds, our focus on digital storytelling and engagement has strengthened our outreach network and sustained interest among youth and potential supporters. We continue to emphasize that climate leadership cannot wait—and neither can our advocacy for a greener, more sustainable Pakistan.
Your support fuels our determination to move forward. Every donation, every share, and every show of solidarity brings us one step closer to equipping young Pakistanis to lead in the fight against climate change. We remain steadfast in our commitment to adapt, build momentum, and turn plans into impactful action as resources become available.
Thank you for believing in the vision of Green Ambassadors. Together, we are keeping the spirit of youth-led climate action alive.
