When the climate crisis intensifies, so must the urgency of response and youth must
remain at the center of that response. While the Green Ambassadors project awaits
sufficient funding to begin full on-ground activities, efforts to keep the initiative visible
and active have continued through alternate means. Climate leadership can’t be paused,
and neither can our commitment to it.
Earlier this month, we launched the PILDAT x GlobalGiving Awareness Week, a
focused digital campaign aimed at introducing the Green Ambassadors project to wider
audiences and sustaining momentum around youth-led climate action. Through this
initiative, we rolled out a carefully planned series of social media posts highlighting the
importance of local climate resilience, the need for community-based environmental
leadership, and the potential of young people to drive long-term change. The campaign
also helped explain why projects like Green Ambassadors matter now more than ever.
Tagging GlobalGiving’s platforms allowed us to align with broader global narratives and
reach new audiences. The response reinforced our belief that there is strong public
interest in youth-led climate action. This early digital traction has helped build
connections that will prove vital once we transition to on-ground implementation.
We’re deeply grateful for your continued support. Your contributions are not just
financial they are a vote of confidence in a more resilient, youth-led climate future for
Pakistan. As we await further resources, we remain committed to adapting, learning,
and planning. Whether through traditional rollout or alternative models, Green
Ambassadors will move forward.
Thank you for standing with us.
Warm regards,
Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development And Transparency – PILDAT
