Challenge

Female students studying in engineering and STEM fields leave education due to economic reasons. Female students who cannot receive education will be forced to marry at an early age and will not have the right to proper representation.

Solution

With the scholarships and comprehensive support we provide to female engineers, their education will continue and we aim to contribute to the solution of gender imbalance in disciplines such as engineering.

Long-Term Impact

Bulgurcu Foundation (BAVAK) is taking initiatives by helping to raise funds for female engineering students across Turkey. It encourages female students to stand on their own feet, take decision-making positions and direct society.
