Dear Friends,

Warmest greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative providing goats to poor farming families in remote barrios. Goat raising remains the favorite income generating activity of farmers because goats are easy to raise, the meat is expensive and they are prolific animals. Sometimes a female goats provide 2 offspring and this is a bonus to the farmers. Their main diet comprise grasses and these abound in the farms. This reporting period we promoted the growing of highly nutritious grasses for the goats. This is so because there are grasses that goats like very much but the sources of seeds and planting materials are not easily available. Your support to this endeavour is very much needed as this approach is novel for goat raisers. We are able to support a total of 35 goat raisers using this approach this reporting period and hoping that you will continue supporting us.

Very sincerely yours,

Cora Sayre
