Goal Card ended financial literacy month with a bang! On April 29th, RISE Memphis staff and board members joined Bank on Memphis for the Student Success Seminar hosted by Power Center Academy. The event included various workshops like Resume Writing, Paying for College, as well as the hands-on On My Own financial simulation experience led by Bank On Memphis.
The RISE team facilitated an impactful engagement on budgeting with over 155 seniors. Special thanks to Counselor Jocelyn Johnson at Power Center Academy for including the RISE team in this initiative and special thanks to all of our community partners and board members for setting aside your day to serve the youth of Power Center Academy.
