Dear friends,
This will be the last update you receive from us on this project as I am delighted to share with you that we have secured a new partnership to fund this work!
From all of us in Kenya and in the UK, we want to say the biggest thank you for your incredible support for our work in the Juvenile Justice System. Your support over the past 2 years has proved invalubale to this work. Because of YOU we have been able to deliver 1000s of Care Packs to children and young people ensuring they have access to soap, loo roll, toothpaste and toothbrushes during their incarceration period. We have delivered 100s of hours of football coaching ensuring that children and young people have their Right To Play realised during their sentence, we have supported more than one hundred children and young people to return home on release from their sentence, we have ensured that EVERY child and young person in the Juvenile Justice System in Mombasa has had an adult that they trust and can tlak to through the presence of our Coaches and Social Workers and we have supported 11 children and young people out of prison and into our care that were unable to return home due to risks at home.
We have achieved so much and impacted so many children and young people's lives - none of this would have been possible without YOUR support.
We really hope you have enjoyed sharing this journey with us - you can keep updated with our work on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and of course, on our website. If you would like to get in touch directly with me to discuss our work or hear how we are getting on, then please do not hesitate to get in touch with me on vicky@gladshouse.com
From all of us, once again thank you - your support and belief in us means more than we can express.
With very best wishes
Vicky
