With the resources received during this period, Fisulab has been able to continue priorizing the treatment for the 5 selected children during three more months.
Two of them have been continuously working during the former period: Juan David, has continued to attend on regular basis to his dentistry controls and speech therapies obtaining great advances in his language despite it is only once-a-month, because his home is very far from Bogota; also, Juan Sebastian, who already initiated speech therapy on individual basis to strengthen himself.
Estefany and Cristian have also been attending to speech therapies noticing an improvement in his language; however, Cristian was practiced a nasopharyngoscopy as well as Juan David in which a speech problem was evidenced to being caused by an organic component, which requires a new surgery for both of them.
The five of them have attended dutifully to their pediatric dentistry controls for the monitoring of their interceptive orthodontics; additionally, Juan David received dental care treatment because he had oral health problems.
During 2013, thanks to you and all our benefactors Fisulab provided treatment to 532 patients throughout the year.
