During the week from September 20th to October the 2nd, Every Latin American group that treats cleft lip and palate came together with the help of our international partner Smile Train, to celebrate the international cleft lip and palate week.
The new reality brought us together virtually in a lot of aspects:
We shared our knowledge a round scientific talks and meetings.
We made our community stronger around social activities with patients around the continent.
And we shared our special projects in order for the wealth of our partners.
Our most important special project is our choir. The whole point of it, and what we wanted to share with our partners, is that we see every patient as an individual needs and through our special tools we manage to with each patient an individual and customized treatment. The choir itself gives patients self-confidence, inner strength and love to been seen as equals in society when they performed in front of a crowd.
The impact of our presentation was so positive and so well received that many more foundations will start their own choir from now on.
We would like to share the video of our presentation with you.
