Corn husks now are used for making flowers as a decoration to summer hats and other accessories. Our 15 men are happy to assist in preparation.
NAVA also provided training for the team in St. Vratch – for the manager, psychologists, social workers and physiotherapists. The topic was related to positive change in teamwork. During a weekend the group had to discuss the challenges in their work and how to improve working environment for better results after almost an year running the project together. They also played a game for trust and participated in other learning-by-doing activities in order to become a better team.
We are still preparing flowers from corn husks and soon we will have ready-to-show-off hats and other summer accessories for sale.
NAVA is going to establish soon an online-platform which will provide a space to sale products made with a cause. That will give us an opportunity for better market and customer access as well as sustainable financing for current and future projects.
