More than 3 months our 15 men with intellectual disabilities make variety of products from corn husks. All this would not be possible without the support of you – our donors all over the world. The therapy workshops help these 15 men to increase their craft skills and to communicate more intensively through workshop activities and common chats with volunteers.
We created products of Christmas theme in order to sell them on different charity bazaars. Some of them, especially the picture-like panels were welcomed and well received by people. Currently we prepare products for another big holiday in Bulgaria – Easter. We will make little baskets and egg holders, as well as greeting cards and wreaths. Of course, work doesn’t go fast because we want to involve men in every step of the craft-making process – that’s the idea!
We were invited to participate in Institution’s Christmas party. Our volunteers were dressed as Santa, Snow White and dwarfs. They prepared appropriate games and gave presents to all participants. The party was full of joy, hugs and smiles and many pictures with Santa and his helpers.
We would like to thank again to our supporters and donors for their help. Stay tuned for more news about our 15 adorable skilled men!
