Quarterly report- illuminating Lives Anidst Nigeri

By Samuel AKARAONYE | Founder/CEO

I am honored to share the impactful strides of the Sam Onyemaechi Humanitarian Foundation (SOHF) and Samony Entrepreneurial Ventures LTD (Samony Foods). Your generosity, channeled through GlobalGiving, has been a beacon of hope as we extend succor and refuge to 150 homeless-poor in Nigeria, particularly in the harsh realities faced by those in rural communities.

Challenging Times and Our Noble Cause:
Nigeria grapples with a dire hunger crisis, and amid these challenges, we have initiated a sustainability project in rural communities. Recognizing the gravity of the situation, the Sam Onyemaechi Humanitarian Foundation strives to alleviate hunger by producing palm oil. This endeavor not only creates employment for local workers paid on a monthly basis but also fuels a cycle of positive change as the proceeds are reinvested into the community, touching the lives of the less fortunate.

Recent Donations and Financial Overview:
We extend our gratitude for recent donations received through GlobalGiving. While specific details aren't captured in this report, rest assured, as GlobalGiving disburses funds, our subsequent report will provide a comprehensive breakdown of how your donations were instrumental in driving positive change.

Expansion Endeavors and Community Outreach Plans:
As we strive for sustainability, expansion becomes paramount. Currently, limited space hinders productivity, and we are actively seeking support to overcome this obstacle.

In the spirit of giving, we are thrilled to announce our end-of-the-year community outreach program from December 21 through January 6, 2024. This initiative will encompass:
- Empowering Widows: Providing vital support to empower widows in our community.
- Seed Money to Agricultural Producers: Extending our reach to boost agricultural production and economic empowerment.
- Feeding Children and In-Kind Donations: Ensuring no child goes to bed hungry and providing essential items to struggling families.
- Medical Treatment: Offering essential healthcare services to those in need.

Join Us for #GivingTuesday on November 28:
As we celebrate the power of giving, we invite you to join us on #GivingTuesday, November 28. We encourage you to extend this invitation to your family and friends, urging them to celebrate the joy of giving with us.

Call to Action:
Your continued support is pivotal as we navigate these challenges and endeavor to make a positive impact in the lives of those struggling in the face of adversity. Together, we can be the change that transforms communities and brings hope to those who need it the most.

Conclusion:
In conclusion, the Sam Onyemaechi Humanitarian Foundation extends heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support. Your generosity fuels our mission to create a brighter, more sustainable future for the less fortunate. We look forward to sharing detailed insights on the impact of your recent donations in our next report.
