New year, new dreams!

We obtained 98% compliance on the visit by the Colombian Institute of Family Welfare, for verification of standards and guidelines established for protection institutions.

During the quarter 10 children were integrated to their families to achieve the objectives in the process of comprehensive care. 

Interconsultation with different health professionals such as psychiatrists and neuropsychologists strengthened, which enabled the establishment of targets for intervention oriented functionality of children and adolescents cognitive, behavioral, emotional, family and social level.

Achieving manage medications, some for free and others at low cost Institute of Health Provider based Guayaquil, Antioquia Mental Hospital Almacentro headquarters and a volunteer doctor for the treatment of children and adolescents with differential diagnoses. 

We manage voluntary general practitioner performing medical assessments for free to strengthen the focus of children and adolescents.

 

Academic, nutritional, among other achievements.


100% of children and adolescents began the academic experience highlighting the motivation for the study and integration with children and adolescents in the sector.

partner institutions were linked by donating school supplies for children could start the school year without difficulties.

proper assimilation of food is evidenced by the 43 children and adolescents, achieving increased weight and height of 100% of children and adolescents treated.


The strategy implemented by the area of pedagogy in accompanying tasks was strengthened by linking two students of the Training Centre of Antioquia that will support during 2016 with emphasis on the academic process.

Nine children were highlighted by the academic performance and commitment in Educational Institutions Manuel José Cayzedo and Miraflores.

 

Activities with families

Currently 15 children and teenagers are hanging out with their families with the aim of sharing outside the Corporation other spaces, and participating in activities with other members of the extended family. The experience has been evaluated positively achieving the objectives.

Fraternal meetings with protection agencies "Hogares PAN" and "Corporación Colina Amigo" achieving strengthen emotional bonds between children and adolescents and their institutionalized brothers were made.

The psychoeducational counseling and work continued appearing as an opportunity for families to clarify their doubts regarding specific issues, promoting the effective exercise of their role with children and adolescents.

Families positively assessed the services received at the Corporacion Superarse through satisfaction survey administered by the Colombian Institute of Family Welfare.

 

Educational activities

Children and adolescents are in the process of choosing their representatives to the Institutional Government with the aim of promoting active participation in community life.

The children made crafts on the occasion of Women's Day and participated in pedagogical reflections that promote good treatment and respect for the female gender.

Film and Literature The project got children have tools on the importance of applying the different manners in living spaces.

Two young men were linked to processes of pre employment training at the National Apprenticeship Service and Systems Center Antioquia.

COMFAMA renewed the agreement to benefit children and adolescents project "Exploring the Web" and "Promotion of Reading".
