This project provides safe shelter, nutritious food, healthcare, and quality education to orphaned and vulnerable children supported by the Jabal-E-Nur Development Society (JDS). Through residential care and community-based support, JDS ensures each child grows up in a nurturing environment. Alongside formal and religious education, children receive life skills, moral guidance, and mentorship to become confident, compassionate, and self-reliant individuals.
In rural and underserved areas of Bangladesh, orphaned children face hunger, neglect, child labor, early marriage, and limited access to education or healthcare. In remote, disaster-prone regions, poverty makes families unable to meet even basic needs. JDS created the Jabal-E-Nur Child Home and community support program to address this crisis, but resources are scarce. Without donations, many children risk losing safety, education, and a dignified childhood.
JDS's Orphan Care Project provides a holistic, compassionate response for orphaned children in Bangladesh. At the Jabal-E-Nur Child Home, children receive safe shelter, nutritious meals, healthcare, essentials, and formal and religious education. Those living with relatives receive school supplies, food, and healthcare support. The program builds life skills, character, spiritual growth, and emotional support, ensuring each child grows with safety, love, and hope.
This project creates lasting change by breaking the cycle of poverty, neglect, and illiteracy among orphaned children. With stable care and quality education, they gain the confidence and values needed for meaningful lives. Empowered children become responsible adults who uplift their communities. By promoting empathy, volunteerism, and child protection, the project strengthens families and nurtures a compassionate, equitable future.
