Joys of feeling empowered- Success Report

By Plaxcedes Morrison | Project Team Member

With her face beaming, confidence showing in her bearing, Esma looks straight at the field officer eager to share her experiences. She first participated in the Tariro project before the Covid-19 Pandemic; and quickly learnt how beneficial it was. The group has learnt how they can develop, become independent and provide for their needs. Esma is incredibly grateful to the Community Facilitator, Project Officer and National Coordinator who have imparted their knowledge with the group

She recalls having limitedexpertise and how she slowly developed to the point of sustaining her domestic demands on a small scale. Esma and her colleages have acquired knowledge that the Tariro project can progress from the small community groups to becoming Cluster groups and on a larger scale become Federation groups. Despite the obstacles and setbacks caused by the pandemic Covid-19, they have remained active.

Esma has been able to educate her loved ones and striving to expand her projects.
