Families now a days have difficulty making ends meet due to the high costs of living. More so, if one of the family member has a severe disability and cannot last the day without using a diaper.. For those beneficiaries who are bedridden , diapers are considered a necessity same with those who are paralyzed from waist down. From the 20 barangays in Las pinas, we have identified 52 persons with severe disabilities and majority of them are with cerevral palsy and bedridden.
Officers were assigned to distribute the diapers in the home of each recepient.so that they can visit and see their condition face to face.. The officers assigned ro recepients of district 1 werr Mary Jane Canega and Ramona Mijares while in districy 2 the officers assigned were John Lester Pusing and Carlos Tadeo. There are 31 female recepients and 21 male recepients who were given 4 packs each. Due to the health conditions of the identified recepients, the Las Pinas Persons with disabilitie Inc decided to inrease the number of PWDs as recipients in each barangay..We agreed to make the distribution of diapers quarterly to help families and lessen financial burden brought by additional costs and needs of family members with disabiity.
