This campaign will secure funds for purchasing and installing hearing aids for children with hearing impairment in north of Syria
Syrian children are facing harsh and difficult circumstances with the continued war since 2011.They are grown up without living their normal childhoods like the rest of the world's children, as they are deprived of the health, education and recreational services. Children with special needs are among the most affected groups in the war, especially those living in households whose living and economic conditions have deteriorated, and are incapable of securing the basic needs for their individuals
"Give hearing back to them" is a campaign that seeks to secure funds for purchasing and installing hearing aids for children with hearing impairment in north of Syria, accompanied by medical supervision and psychosocial support that would make hope and smiles return back to them
SEMA managed to identify tens of children cases who are suffering from partial or complete hearing loss. We offered hearing aids for around 77 cases to help them adapt and integrate into their community. Through this campaign we aim to treat 100 cases, this would give the children the opportunity to receive education and overcome the difficulties they encounter, particularly in light of the inability of their families to secure these aids because of displacement and their bad financial situation
