We are so very thankful for you, our supporters, and your ongoing allegiance to teen girls realizing their rights and potential in life.
Giving girls the knowledge of their rights is key to them breaking free of unjust cultural practices leading to setbacks in life. As a Soar girl progresses through the Soar empowerment workshops provided by your generous support, amazing things happen.
Kaoutar is a 15 years old girl from a village near Ait Ouarir. Kaoutar struggled with self-esteem and shyness, often remaining silent when her teacher asked her questions, unable to find her voice. Determined to change, Kaoutar joined the Project Soar Program and through engaging activities, mentorship, and support from her facilitators, Kaoutar began to blossom. She learned to believe in herself, speak up with confidence, and embrace her inner strength.
Workshop after workshop, Kaoutar's transformation became always more evident. Her once-muted voice grew louder, her ideas became bolder, and her presence commanded attention. Gradually, Kaoutar emerged as a leader in her Soar Club, inspiring others with her newfound courage and unwavering determination.
Today, Kaoutar stands tall as a shining example of personal growth and empowerment. She has overcome her struggles with self-esteem and shyness, stepping into her power and embracing her potential as a leader in her community.
As a great testament to her new and great leadership role among her teenage peers, Kaoutar participated in a Leadership training organized by Norway Embassy and Project Soar, training during which she excelled in determination and confidence, setting an example for her friends and teammates.
We are so proud of the dedication and drive seen by our Soar girls who have shown us how impactful our empowerment program is in giving them the tools to succeed and grow stronger.
As ever, we wish to thank you for helping Soar Girls access this knowledge to their rights in life and realize their newfound strength. Your support means more girls are accessing life-changing rights-based programming and Soaring to new heights!
