Dear supporters,

This report is intended to inform you about DUNK's (formerly known as ABaCoDe Ghana) development regarding the construction of a Sport and Development Center in Accra, Ghana's capital.

Our organization have been under a lot of changes recently starting by our newly acquired independance which resulted in the name change, new website (www.dunkgrassroots.org), new Facebook page (DUNK) and also the repainting of our office.

Nevertheless, there has been some development regarding the construction of the Sport and Development Center in Jamestown Community. The contractors were hired as well as measurements and quotations were finalized. In order to complete the work, we will however need more financial resources. DUNK is currently in talk with Africa Cola, Insel Communication and Nestle to partner up on this great project. Responses should be given this month and we are expecting to start the work at the end of August! To be added that 40 buckets of paint (8 gallons) were donated by a painting company reducing the total cost of the project!

In the mean time, DUNK staff was without rest organizing various events such as Fun Corporates Day (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iXxMC1CxQMU), Mentoring and Tutoring Session with volunteers from 7 different countries and Grassroots Basketball Development Tournaments among many other things!

Please visit our Facebook page (DUNK) and Website for more updates!
