Equip and Empower a Woman in India for Success

Because of your help, 48 women received sewing training at tailoring schools in India. Many of these women come from very poor families and don't have jobs. But you have given them valuable skills and so much hope. The women recently graduated from the tailoring schools and receieved their very own sewing machine.

Since these women have graduated, a new batch of students has arrived. 48 women are currently enrolled in the tailoring schools, where they will spend six months learning how to sew and stitch.

Women like Rajini are grateful for your support. Rajini didn't have a job and her husband didn't have a permanent job, so they constantly faced financial struggles. It was hard to support their family. They have three children and, at times, it was difficult to afford the fees to send all of their children to school.

Rajini found hope when she joined the tailoring school. She gained tremendous confidence in herself and learned how to sew. Rajini is able to not only sew clothes for her family, but she also sews clothes for others. When she graduated she received her very own sewing machine, and she is now able to sew and earn an income to support her husband and three children. Rajini is so grateful for the opportunity she has been given to attend the tailoring school. She is very thankful that she now has valuable skills and a sewing machine that will greatly help her whole family.

She now earns enough money to send her two children to school and provide a daily income for her family.
