“Having a place to go- is a home. Having someone to love- is a family. Having both- is blessing.“-Donna Hedger.

We continue dreaming for a permanent place.

The security of a “forever home” will provide the children and youth the opportunity to keep developing self-confidence and open-mindedness by learning and playing.

The dream of a permanent home for the Clara Luna Foundation means funds now allocated for monthly expenses could be spent on expanded programs.

If you believe magic happens all the time. Now it's time to check out where the magic happens. Watch this video:

The Clara Luna Foundation is a reliable presence in Puerto Lopez, a secure place for children to explore the world through their access to books in our reading room. Our after-school language programs strive to make learning English exciting and enjoyable to young minds that want to grow their  horizons and knowledge.

Clara Luna provides programs for children and youth to engage in educational and creative activities, something very uncommon in Ecuador and especially in small towns like Puerto Lopez. Children are given an opportunity to do arts and crafts, read books, play games, and work together on community initiatives. They are taught skills like leadership, communication, and critical thinking.

The cost of renting our building is the major expense that we occur. With a permanent place of our own those funds could be used expanding our outreach to more children with our exceptional programs.

Help make Clara Luna an enduring presence in the lives of the children of Puerto Lopez.

Since 2010, the dreams of more than 100 locals have been fulfilled thanks to the generosity of our donors. Clara Luna has been serving as a gathering place and a dreaming space for the children, youht and families we serve. We continue dreaming and our community deserves this permanent house, to develop community initiatives and programs.

The children of Puerto Lopez need to know that we are here for them on a permanent basis. In an ever changing world, children need the confidence of familiar surroundings such as the reading room in our building and the art areas where they have spent many interesting hours expanding their horizons in literature and the arts.

Please sponsor our dream!

"There's no place like home"

That famous last line from the movie THE WIZARD OF OZ  says everything !

Clara Luna needs a home to call its own. The children of Puerto Lopez need to know that we are here for them on a permanent basis. In an ever changing world, children need  the confidence of familiar surroundings such as the reading room in our building and the art areas where they have spent many interesting hours expanding their horizons in literature and the arts.

The security of a “forever home” will provide the children an opportunity to continue arts and crafts, read books, play games, work together on community initiatives and expand these programs in a space that they know will be always there. Please consider a donation that will help guarantee the Clara Luna Foundation a home of its own.

The dream of a permanent home for the Clara Luna Foundation means funds now allocated for monthly expenses could be spent on expanded programs, reaching more children.

For ten years, in rented spaces with a cost of approximately $1000 per month, Clara Luna has provided programs for children and youth that engages them in educational and creative activities. This is something very uncommon in Ecuador, especially in small towns like Puerto Lopez. They are taught skills like leadership, communication and critical thinking; otherwise a rare opportunity.

Won't you help us find our way HOME.?
