Aliya (name changed), 6, had never read a book. One day, she noticed the roasted corn her father was snacking on was packaged in an upcycled old newspaper made into a pocket. She was fascinated by the letters she could see on the paper. She wished she could read.
Whether it's a Pakistani "Dick & Jane" equivalent or Early Reader book, a basic ABC reader is not easily accessible to the masses in Pakistan. Your contribution is facilitating this for children, changing forever their lives.
Aliya is just one girl. One for whom your donation is making a difference. Thank you.
Please spread the word and continue to give.
Giving a book to a child is about more the material possessions. It's about introducing and encouraging that child to read and opening her work to unlimited possibilities. The children waiting to receive have never opened a book in their life, and certainly not one all to themselves.
Through books, a child can visit faraway lands, go on adventures, learn about different cultures, and so much more. Whether this is Wonderland, Narnia, or places and parts of Pakistan, books open the eyes and mind to new ways of thinking.
This project is about literacy as well as enjoyment for the deserving children.
Thank you for your generosity and support. We are still in the fundraising stage of this project.
Thank you for supporting this project, a dream to give physical books to small children in Pakistan in today's virtual world with power outs and constant electricity challenges. Reading fuels a child's imagination in a powerful way, but too many children never get the chance to touch, read or experience an actual book, let alone own one.
Thanks to you, we've started this journey as we fundraise to enable 5 unknown Children's books authors to get the chance to blossom and be trained for this.
There are three parts to this process. Educating girls. Educating their work. Publishing and circulating for free the published short story books to deserving masses.
Giving a book opens up a destiny of possibilities to that child. Thank you for your help. Please spread the word and help us in this journey.

With COVID19, not only is virtual possible, but it is the norm. The books in this project connect children to paper and thoughts - through the stories - where they can mark or highlight ideas, feel texture and believe in possibilities.
We are still at the fundraising stage. Once we raise funds, we plan to educate girls in short story writing and educate other girls in illustration. There are three parts to this process. Educating girls. Educating their work. Publishing and circulating for free the published short story books to deserving masses.
Giving a book opens up a destiny of possibilities to that child. Thank you for your help. Please spread the word and help us in this journey.
We're still at the inception of this project, a dream to give physical books to small children in Pakkstan in today's virtual world with power outs and constant electricity challenges. Reading fuels a child's imagination in a powerful way, but too many children never get the change to touch, read or experience a book, let alone own one. Do you remember the first book you read. Do you recall the story? The picture? The smell of the paper? This project is more meaningful that just one book to one child. It's opening up a destiny of possibilities to that child. Thank you for your help. Please spread the word and help us in this journey.
