Thousands of rural poor girl-children failed to access and complete a basic cycle of quality education. Due to extreme poverty, marginalization, many girl-children dropout to marry at early age, with limited access to basic facilities, finds it difficult in their new homes, bear children, unable to read or write and to care for their children. Charges at schools, lack of books, uniforms, transport to and schools and other costs, are barriers to access and retain in school.
Continuous donations are needed to provide more girls with school fees, bags, uniforms, solar study lamps, a laptop, a bicycle, monthly caring, power mentoring and social justice, etc to access and stay in schools. Highly marginalized girls facing problems in accessing or completing basic education will be addressed. Little-by-Little donations can improve girls' learning and attendance in an inclusive environment protected from harm with a sustained better life
Contributors from GlobalGiving members and friends, Girls Not Brides, Anne Frank Fonds, charity organizations, friends and individuals, are doing great to see girls accessing and retaining in schools, with voices as change agents against issues affecting them before. Continuous supports will alleviate girl-child illiteracy and poverty, be role models with change mechanisms for a better community. Marriage and pregnancy will delayed. When girls are empowered, they become self-reliant and strong
