Project Report | Mar 30, 2023
Empowering Communities!

By Shilpa Lamichhane | Program Manager

With the remaining funds received during last period and with support from Visible Impact, our girls continued training more young girls from their village in Khairanitar. Young girls of Khairanitar have been enthusiastically learning extracurricular and new skills from their sisters.

The club activity has been going on in a full fledge. It is fully supported by the local community office and many young people and community people have been volunteering there. Our girls have managed to install a second hand computer system and whenever all of them have to be at the capital at the same time, they even counsel and continue their classes online. The young girls back at Khairanitaar have been enjoying learning through digital platforms as well.

We are proud that the small initiative which we started is somewhat creating a ripple effect and have started creating impacts on more lives. We will continue to support them in coming days and encourage on continuing this activity. With more fun, we could similarly scale up these activities and promote more of digital learning among community people.
