With the funds received within this period and with support from Visible Impact, our girls have started training more young girls from their village in Khairanitar. Young girls of Khairanitar were really keen and eager to learn seeing their elder sisters excel in extracurricular areas.
During the festivities, the girls who were studying and working came back to their village. Hearing the interest expressed by other young girls, they decided to form a club to offer various classes and career counseling. The club is also partly supported by local community office. Our girls initiated the club activities during the festivities and decided to continue it online after getting back to the city. Some of them have stayed back to help families during the harvesting time also teaching the young girls in person during their leisure time.
We are proud that the small initiative which we started is somewhat creating a ripple effect and have started creating impacts on more lives. We will continue to support them in coming days and encourage on continuing this activity.
