Inaccessible public transportation restricts the ability of persons with disabilities to access educational and economic opportunities, which keep them in the vicious circle of poverty. Each year, we intend to impact the lives of 250 persons with disabilities through skills-based training and job placement. We need your assistance in bringing these trainees to our campus through a dedicated transport service. Help us so no person with a disability stops dreaming for a better future.
"When I was a kid, I had no idea that I am disabled until my first day at school. Like every kid, I was nervous and excited but when all my colleagues went to a nearby park during the lunch break, I remained inside. I then continued my education and dreamed of becoming an engineer but after my fifth grade, my classroom moved to the first floor. I couldn't go to any other school as my parents couldn't afford my daily transport expenses, so I stopped dreaming after that day." - Taimoor
Taimoor's story reflects the life of thousands of persons with disabilities who can't attain their dreams due to inaccessible infrastructure and expensive modes of transport for persons with disabilities. Each year, NOWPDP conducts free of cost vocational training of 250+ persons with disabilities in trades like computer operations, graphic designing, stitching, rickshaw driving, and more. Once training is conducted, these trainees are also facilitated for job placements.
We need your assistance in bringing these trainees to our campus, so a sustainable change is possible. Help us so no person with disabilities stops dreaming for a better future.
