How much the Police Commissioner Earns every month? ......... the question that victims of sex trafficking boldly asked to the senior police officer.
Save The Children India constantly strives to bring best to survivors of sex trafficking that we work with in India. Whether its food, education, psychological care, trauma counselling, legal assistance, reunion with family, we believe it’s only the best that they deserve.
This quarter we worked towards exploring survivors to the career opportunities in the justice Space, We ensured that we had best lawyers, Social workers, Journalists, Counsellors and police officers interact with them and empower them with the knowledge and requirement to be one. The session with law enforcement was one of the best where we had three women police officers visited campus to interact with girls and answered queries and questions of those who have an inclination to taking it up as career.
We only hope that these sessions evoke their interest in these careers and take their journey from being a victim to being a defender of Justice.
It is YOU who helped us to reach out to them is the most meaningful way and we look forward to your suggestions and support in the future as well.
Thank you
