The children have been participating in the workshops with lot of enthusiasm. Besides the ongoing activities they do in the program, they had a sexual education and drugs prevention workshops that were lead by professionals in the areas. Also, our psychologists had a workshop with the mothers to try to revalue the role of women in the families and district, that a lot of times are not considered as equals.
Coming to the end of the year, the children are presenting their work in our annual event the 14-Dec, called "Gigantes"(Giants). The theme is a way of telling the stories of this small and big giants that are the children, facing challenges every day and breaking barriers.
