We are back from summer holidays and as promised on the last report, I can now share with you how our space looks like after the renovation we did. The space is designed to provide flexibility to our daily activities and to inspire the kids´ creativity.
Besides the renovations during the holiday season we were busy planning the activities for the rest of the year to be fun, inspiring and creative. We also implemented a custom- made information system that allow us to easily track the results of our activities, and the participants’ development.
For this 2014 we have signed in 108 kids in our activities and we still have some more open spots to fill.
As for Garabato, most of the kids didn’t know themselves so they played a lot of games to help them know each other and their names. With that objective in mind, the first activity they made this year was a birthday calendar to put all their new friends date on it.
As I always mention in my reports, you are welcome to visit us anytime to see first- hand how your support is making this project possible, and please if you have any questions, remarks or ideas, contact me on Facebook, Twitter or via mail: luz.amuchastegui@eldesafio.org. Also you can sign up for our renewed newsletter by clicking here. And of course join our Facebook fanpage in where we share day to day information.
