By Luz Amuchastegui | Program Director
We just finished our two weeks winter holidays in Argentina, but since our last report many things have been going on. During the past months the kids have been working on trays made out of paper that they took home and as they said will be used when drinking “mate”. They also made beautiful vases out of recycled milk boxes to decorate their homes, and also some quite scary monsters helmets to play with.
As I mentioned on a previous report, last year we implemented a reporting tool based on 34 indicators that allows us to keep track on how the kids are developing, and since we put that into practice, we’ve noticed that the kids made important advances on the way the communicate, their self- esteem and creativity.
You are more than welcome to visit us if you are traveling through Argentina and see with your own eyes what you are making possible with your support. We are very grateful for your help.
