We are proud to share with you a warm welcome to our newest partner organization, the Pinecrest Manor Community Association! We will be hosting this group of underserved families to an educational and enjoyable day on the farm. In addition to learning about container gardening, they will learn about the benefits of nature, and how to access those benefits regularly on their own.
Our late summer programs will be held at our home base, D.I.G.Farm, and at our partner Rockefeller State Park and Preserve. Other groups we will be hosting will be SPARC Linkup, enhancing the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities, The Sunshine Club, supporting adults recovering from mental illness, and The Mt. Kisco Interfaith Food Pantry, providing education and service to those in need.
Please enjoy some photos below from programs this Summer. And, check out the bilingual sensory scavenger hunt, our kids nature art director will be using.
All our programs are 100% free to the people we serve, and can include naturalists, transportation, and picnics. You can visit our website, if you would like to volunteer https://www.digfarm.org/access-nature-about. Your support and donations are greatly appreciated!
