Hello Everybody,
My name is Jenny Robson and I am one of the volunteers for Kranti. I'm kind of the boring member of the team that helps get things done behind the scenes. I've got a business background and run my own international business. I'm an expat in Mumbai so bring an international perspective to Kranti. It's a real pleasure to work with the Kranti girls and to be part of their development. At the moment I am doing lots of work with them to help them to learn business skills which will enable them to take over the running of Kranti and be more actively involved in its administration, policy and procedures. As you probably know many Kranti volunteers are expats and are in Mumbai for a very short length of time. As a result, their knowledge is often lost when they leave. My mission at the moment is to help make sure this doesn't happen by helping the girls to record all of their knowledge and processes. We are using loads of cool tools to create social media posts, record lessons, and help our volunteers to support us.
Anyway, I will keep this one short and sweet but just wanted to provide you with an update of what happens behind the scenes.
I've added a couple of photos that we have made in Canva.com to give you an example of the sort of things we have been making for our social media platforms.
