Because of your generous contribution, Superhumans have been able to provide life-changing rehabilitation to Ukrainian defenders like Ihor. Your donations are not just covering medical sessions; they are rebuilding lives, restoring mobility, and returning fathers to their children.
Ihor’s Journey Ihor, a devoted husband and father of two from the Ivano-Frankivsk region, worked as a sales representative before the full-scale invasion. In July 2023, he was mobilized as a Lieutenant and platoon commander in the 65th Separate Mechanized Brigade. On March 19, 2024, during a mission near Robotyne, Ihor's life changed forever when he suffered a severe injury from an anti-personnel mine. Despite the trauma, he managed to apply his own tourniquet and remained conscious throughout a grueling eight-hour evacuation journey.
Ihor's heart is set on returning to his family and his former career in trade. He dreams of being the active father his 17-year-old son and 15-year-old daughter need. Thanks to the funding provided by the GlobalGiving community, we are supporting Ihor through intensive physical and psychological rehabilitation. This professional care is essential for his recovery, ensuring he has the strength and mobility to transition from the battlefield back to a fulfilling civilian life.
Since our last report, your support has enabled us to assist 2 individuals in their journey toward recovery. Each contribution helps us provide specialized physical therapy, psychological support, and the long-term rehabilitation required for survivors to regain their independence.
