Andrii is 24 years old and comes from the Lviv region. He earned a master’s degree, and in 2021, he signed a contract with the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. It was there that he met the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
In October 2025, Andrii was injured in the Sumy region as a result of a drone-dropped explosive. Despite the severity of the injury, he managed to apply a tourniquet himself, while his evacuation lasted more than two hours.
Thanks to the GlobalGiving community, Andrii was able to undergo two cycles of treatment and rehabilitation at Superhumans. His recovery was complicated by multiple injuries to the saved part of his left leg. But together with our doctors and rehabilitation specialists, Andrii overcame this difficult journey and successfully completed his rehabilitation course.
Today, he is already walking confidently on his prosthetic leg.
This week, Andrii was discharged from the center, and now he is continuing his life alongside his beloved girlfriend.
Thank you for helping make recovery stories like Andrii’s possible.
