Ife-ooye Women's Association is building homes for less privileged people in Nigeria. This project will help us continue to build housing for vulnerable and disenfranchised people and also provide for their basic needs, such as providing food, clothing and healthcare.
There are so many socio-economic challenges/ problems in our community. Our project is focusing on the vulnerable people of Ife who do not have homes due to poverty. We must provide them with shelter and care so they are no longer left on the streets.
We are providing a place for people to stay so they're not on the streets and have access to food and clothing. Having a home to live in is a basic right. By providing this shelter, vulnerable people can live more dignified lives and enter back into society.
The long-term impact for this building project is that vulnerable people in Ife will be able to live fulfilled lives, safe from problems and dangers on the streets. Having a home to live in is the beginning of many people's route back into society and will enable many people in Ife (the elderly, widows, students, the least privileged) to live comfortable decent lives in their communities.
