Celebrate a girl graduating first in her class from university in Pakistan by funding her Educate a Girl gold medal. Each gold medal is $100 and features her name and will be a keepsake as well as something that will help her get a job.
We are educating girls, but this project is to stop and recognize those girls who are extraordinary achievers. In Pakistani culture, this is done at a university ceremony where they are awarded a Gold medal for coming first in their field, in front of their peers and family and potential employers. These funds will be used to make these medals and engrave them with the girl's names.
As we're educating more and more girls, they need to be recognized officially for their achievements. Many are the first girl in their family to go to University. We are asking for donors to help us fund 10 gold medals for 10 girls who have come first in their class in their field. These Educate a Girl medals are keepsake reminders not only of their success, but how far they can go. They will also help them in getting jobs as they are physical reminders of their achievements.
Not only will this raise their self-esteem, it will raise their profile and of course help them in getting jobs.
