Thank you so much!

Thank you to everyone who has donated so far to help fund Childline. With your generous help, we have raised £9,361which has helped to answer 2340 calls from worried children all across the UK.

Between 1 April 2023 - 30 September 2023, Childline carried out over 95,000 counselling sessions with children and young people. 74% of counselling took place online (45% 1-to-1 chat, 29% email) compared with 26% on the phone. During this time, the top 3 concerns counselled were mental/emotional health, suicidal thoughts and family relationships.

What Childline has achieved since Covid

Despite the challenges of COVID, Childline has continued to grow and develop its offer for children and young people. We’ve achieved some incredibly significant milestones including:

  • Creating targeted campaigns to reach out to the children and young people that need us most.
  • We have identified Loneliness as a cause for concern and created, piloted and launched the loneliness campaign aimed to tackle this.
  • Looked into new technologies that can help improve the services provided to children.
  • Developed new partnering approaches to help reach a wider range of children and young people.

Thank you

Over 90% of our income comes through donations, and we are extremely grateful for the support we have received from those who have donated.

We thank you again for your support, and we hope that you will continue to share and support and our fight for children.
