Nivaly Health Access helps children and families in Ecuador receive affordable medical and mental health care they might otherwise delay because of cost. With an average cost of $20 per visit, this project will fund up to 1,000 consultations delivered by locally licensed doctors and psychologists, while also creating paid professional opportunities for early-career providers.
Many children and families in Ecuador delay medical and mental health care because private consultations can be difficult to afford. Preventive care is often postponed until problems become more serious, while psychological support can be especially limited. At the same time, young licensed doctors and psychologists need paid opportunities to gain experience and serve their communities.
Nivaly Health Access uses donations to subsidize affordable medical and mental health visits for children and families in Ecuador. At an average cost of about $20 per visit, a $20,000 goal can fund up to 1,000 consultations. Locally licensed doctors and psychologists deliver care, while also creating paid opportunities for early-career professionals.
Nivaly aims to build a sustainable model that helps families seek medical and mental health care earlier, before problems become more serious. By growing recurring donations, partnerships, and community programs, we can expand preventive care, support healthier families, and create more paid opportunities for Ecuadorian doctors and psychologists.
