Over the past few months, significant progress has been made in the project that supports the agroecological garden at Didascalio School. The main goal continues to be improving the nutrition of students and their families, while also strengthening community work and environmental care.
Growing Fruit Trees and Making Progress
During this stage, ten fruit trees were planted as part of the school’s new fruit grove. To protect them, a perimeter fence was built to help define and safeguard the area. In addition, we provided the school with seedlings, seeds, and fertile soil for its garden, helping to improve food production and the overall health of the garden space.
New Steps Toward Better Nutrition
Healthy eating workshops were also held for both students and families. These sessions, led by nutrition specialists, created opportunities to share ideas on how to improve daily nutrition and make the most of the products grown in the school garden at home.
These actions have strengthened the participation of the entire educational community. The students showed greater interest in garden activities, and families joined the project with enthusiasm.
To make it happen, we need your support.
The project continues to grow step by step, consolidating the garden as a space that teaches, nourishes, and brings together the entire Didascalio School community.
