Challenge

Crown Nursery and Primary School in Bugadde Village, Mayuge District serves over 600 pupils but lacks adequate classroom infrastructure. Many learners study in temporary structures that become muddy during the rainy season and dusty during the dry season. The school also has a severe shortage of desks, forcing many children to sit on the floor. These poor learning conditions affect pupils' comfort, concentration, and overall quality of education.

Solution

This project will improve learning conditions at Crown Nursery and Primary School by constructing permanent classroom blocks and providing enough desks for pupils. These classrooms will protect learners from rain and dust while creating a safe and comfortable learning environment. By improving school infrastructure, the project will help pupils concentrate better, increase attendance, and support quality education for more than 600 children in the community.

Long-Term Impact

Improving classroom infrastructure at Crown Nursery and Primary School will create a safe and stable learning environment for over 600 pupils. In the long term, better facilities will increase school attendance, improve academic performance, and reduce dropout rates. The project will strengthen access to quality education in Bugadde Village, helping children gain knowledge and skills that can improve their future opportunities and contribute positively to the development of their community.
