Through the Green Thar Project, Customs Health Care Society (CHCS) is working to transform barren and drought-affected land in Tharparkar into productive green farms. The initiative focuses on improving access to water and supporting sustainable agricultural activities in communities where water scarcity and harsh environmental conditions make farming extremely difficult.
By developing green farms, CHCS aims to help local communities produce fresh crops, improve food security, and create opportunities for sustainable livelihoods. The project demonstrates how access to water and appropriate agricultural support can turn previously unproductive land into a source of food, income, and hope.
The Green Thar Project is part of CHCS's broader commitment to creating sustainable solutions for vulnerable communities and helping families build stronger and more self-reliant futures.
With sincere gratitude,
