A Year of Impact: Additional 37 Students Graduated

By Lily Brink | Fundraising Manager

Last Saturday, we had the pleasure of celebrating the graduation of 37 students from our partner school, the Sunbeam Foundation. It was an honour to join them for this important milestone, and we were proud to present them with certificates recognising their achievements in Scratch programming and LibreOffice.

This graduation marks the end of a year-long learning journey. Thanks to your generous support, we delivered 25 ICT lessons throughout the academic year and provided 25 devices, giving students valuable hands-on learning opportunities. Our programme was supported by five international volunteers and one local trainer, who brought a variety of perspectives and teaching methods to the classroom.

We are especially proud to announce that all 37 students successfully completed the programme, resulting in a 100% completion rate. Through their dedication and hard work, the students developed essential digital skills that will support their future education and opportunities.

We are excited to announce that we have already started working with a new group of Form 3 JHS students, and their classes began last Friday. We look forward to supporting them on their learning journey and equipping them with the skills they need to thrive in an increasingly digital world.

None of this would have been possible without your generosity. Thank you for believing in our students and investing in their futures. Your support is helping to create lasting opportunities through digital education, and we look forward to continuing this journey with you in the year ahead.
