"I am happy to be back in school. I am happy to meet my friends again," says 12-year-old student from JAAGO Chittagong School after almost two months of COVID-19 school closures.
Students, while they are all wearing masks, their eyes show the true story — joy and relief at being back. They were happy being with their friends and teachers.
Here are a few activities that took place recently in March 2022:
Our students from 11 districts observed Independence Day
On 26th March, Bangladesh observed its independence day. To celebrate this day, our schools in 11 districts of Bangladesh conducted flag hoisting ceremonies, art competitions, essay competition, and other activities to indulge students in this grand celebration.

Our students of 10th grade are appearing in the Model tests for Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Examination. These Model tests are essential for the candidates. The preparation includes subject and topic-wise tests, full model tests as well as solving previous board exam question papers. A lot of practice materials help these SSC students to accomplish their perfect preparation for the board exam.
South Asian Football Federation -SAFF hosted a football match for the students
As part of the International Day of Happiness celebrations, the South Asian Football Federation -SAFF, the Royal Bhutanese Embassy, Dhaka, Bangladesh and the Bangladesh Football Federation hosted a football match for the students of the JAAGO Foundation at the premises of the Bangladesh Football Federation. After staying at home for quite a long time to cope with COVID-19, the students were pleased to be back on the field and enjoyed it a lot.
Students have harvested vegetables they had planted on their school roof
In recent weeks, our students have harvested vegetables they had planted on their school roof with their teacher's help. The aim of this activity was to provide chemical-free, nutrient-rich vegetables to the children and to provide an opportunity to learn by doing. Students were benefited through experiential learning. This has established strong relationships between the school and the students.
School life retuns to normal. We are thankful to all our donors for staying with us through the tough times. To help children in the future, please keep supporting them. With your donations for education, we dream about bringing a positive difference to this world.
