Rural Mothers Can't Afford Life-Saving C-Sections

By Joy Ojochogwu Etubi | Project Leader

Dear Donors,

We sincerely thank you for your support toward the Free C-Section for High-Risk Pregnancies in Kogi project. Your contribution is truly appreciated and gives hope to mothers facing dangerous childbirth complications. However, the donations received so far are not enough to kickstart the project yet, and more support is needed.

Many pregnant women in Kogi State continue to face life-threatening complications during childbirth without access to affordable surgical care. Because of poverty and limited access to emergency services, some women delay seeking treatment until it becomes too late.

This project is designed to provide free C-sections, transport support, and basic aftercare for poor women with high-risk pregnancies through partnerships with local hospitals and doctors.

With the right support, more mothers and newborns can survive childbirth safely and families can avoid preventable tragedy linked to delayed medical care.

We remain grateful for the support received so far and hopeful that additional contributions will make it possible to begin this life-saving intervention.

Thank you for your kindness and continued support.

Sincerely,

Joy Ojochogwu Etubi
Project Leader
