This project provides foundational education to 1,000 marginalized children across 10 centers in Telangana using IT-enabled classrooms and NEIEA's blended model. It focuses on English, Maths, and Science, while fostering digital literacy, gender equality, critical thinking, and LSRW skills. By preparing students for age-appropriate exams, it promotes academic success, economic growth, and justice and human rights.
In Telangana, girls from marginalized communities face critical educational barriers-low literacy (49.9%), high dropout rates, and poor foundational skills. Over 3.5 lakh children are out of school, the majority of them girls. Without urgent educational support, these girls are at a risk of being dropped out or academic failure. This will deprive them of gender equality, economic growth, justice and human rights and keeps them trapped in generational cycles of poverty and exclusion.
NEIEA addresses the problem by providing foundational learning applying its blended learning model. In this model, trained Mentor Teachers deliver daily live, interactive lessons via large LED screens and are supported by Coordinators inside the classroom. Using Google Workspace, we offer low-cost and high-impact learning. Our Discourse-Oriented Pedagogy fosters critical thinking and helps students develop foundational learning, digital skills, confidence and reduces gender disparity.
NEIEA's model achieves long-term impact through Discourse Oriented Pedagogy, building critical thinking and problem-solving. Scalable via Google Workspace, it ensures access and digital inclusion. It bridges gender and economic gaps, delays early marriage, improves health, and boosts earnings. Educated girls uplift families, lead communities, and promote equity, resilience, and civic participation for lasting change
