The President's state of emergency in southern Malawi remains as food prices continue to rise daily and the value of the Malawi Kwacha drops daily. Poor farming families are forced to cope by eating fewer meals.
It's Spring in Malawi with the temperature up, the rains have stopped and preparation for planting has begun but the eventual harvest is always unsure. ASAP's Aquaponics project here will make a huge diffrence in the nutrition status of poor families. Children will have access to nutritious fish and vegetables all year, improving their nutrition come drought or floods.
You can help ASAP make a positive change in the lives of poor farming families. Please donate generously.
